Another year behind and a New Year ahead!

  Wow! Where has time gone? It is hard to believe that we are already in a new year. As I reflect back, 2013 was full of joy, change, sadness and everything in between. One can never know what will happen in 12 months time. Little did we know last year at this time that we would be attending the funeral of our brother. Yet 2013 was filled with joy with the birth of our first child. Another big change was that we are now working as missionaries in the country of Haiti. Even though 2013 was in many ways a tough year for our family, it was also a year of growth and blessings and we thank God for that!
 As we look ahead at 2014, there is so much unknown, yet we can rest in the fact that God knows what lies ahead for us and he already has it in his hands. I do know that baby girl will be 1 in a few short weeks and we will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary this year!
