~Decor~

I'd have to say this is my favorite living room. I love the browns with the splash of color.
I love how this kitchen feels warm and inviting. However, I would add some slight shades of red.
I love the stripes painted on the walls!

I like the open feeling of this room & also some of the decor, but not necessarily the orange color.

I love the colors in this room! These colors are very similar to my living room colors that I have chosen.

I like the organization of this "mud room" & I also like the idea of the map wallpaper.

Lately I've had some extra time on my hands and since I'm looking at getting my own place in the next few months, I'm beginning to look at various decorating ideas, etc. I found this really cool blog that has quite a few neat ideas that I really like (http://www.coastal-style-living.com/). Take a look if you like. :)

The Welk Resort

Well summer has officially begun for me. I completely finished school last week and am now waiting to hear about state boards testing date, etc. I'm also working on applying for a job. Don't you just hate filling out those long applications...me 2, but the rewards in the end are worth it.

I'm also working on finding a place to rent here in the next few months. So far I've found one that I'm really interested in! Would appreciate prayers that God will help me find a good job so then everything will work out so I can move to that house the end of July or so!

So much going on lately. We are getting ready for a HUGE yard sale & car wash here on Saturday. All funds will be going to the upcoming Haiti trip, which by the way the group will be leaving June 8-18. Wish so badly that I could go with them, but God knows & has other plans.

My sister, Brooke & I are also planning a trip to Branson the beginning of June. I'm SO ready to get away and enjoy a few days of FUN & R & R! Here are some pics that I got off of the websites, of where we will be going & where we will be staying. We got an awesome deal online! We used to go to Branson quite often when my brother & I were little, but it has been awhile, so I'm definitely looking forward to it!

The young girl I pick up from school during the week wanted to make her mother a cake for Mother's Day & this is how it came out. She picked the colors and how she wanted to be & she also put most of the icing on the cake.

Happy Mother's Day to my mom, grandmothers, aunts & friends who are mothers! Also let's not forget the ones who do not have children, but are mother's to others around them!

I Survived Nursing School!

Well the end of PN school is finally here. In some ways it has felt like years and yet in other ways feels like it was just yesterday that I started nursing school. I just finished up a week at dialysis & LOVED it!!! I'm thinking/praying about applying for a job there. It's not something I want to stay in permanently, especially bc I do want to get some more experience, but starting out I think it would be awesome. Especially in this economy while it is hard to find jobs. Plus after a little bit I can search around for other places.

This past year I've had so many people who have been there for me no matter what & I'm very thankful for that! God has really helped me in SO many ways also & I thank Him so much!

Next week will be my final week and I will be working in the burn center. I'm excited & nervous at the same time. I guess we will see what happens. :)

On another note, please help Jonathan & I pray about his visa situation. We've submitted paperwork & are waiting to hear something back. Please pray that God will lead us & will provide according to His will! We really appreciate all the prayers! I know that God will help us & He has already helped us in so many ways already!
