Winter Storm

Brooke ventured outside this week & took pictures of the snow & ice. I decided to put a few of the pictures on my blog. The temperature on the thermometer may not be real cold to some of you, but to me it was freezing!

Tomorrow is my sister, Brooke's 15th birthday, but we had her part today. I made a surfboard cake for her this year. Here are a few pictures of the day, but there will be more to come.

Getting back into our routines

Not too much going on here since New Year's Eve. Basically we are getting back into the routines of things....getting back to our work & school schedules. :)
In between we've also been doing some cleaning. The Christmas/winter decorations have come down & have been put away. We've also been doing some "spring" cleaning. :) It feels so nice to finally get all the clutter in order!
School has been good. This week & next week we will be covering LOTS of information, so you'll know why my brain is fried. :) We've been studying the structures of a muscle, etc. & this next week we'll be covering the nervous system. I guess they are just getting us prepared for the nursing program in March.
We've also been enjoying a few days of nice "warmer" weather lately. It will be real nice one day & then the next will be freezing. :)
